Players can claim prizes at authorized retailers or by mailing in tickets, with significant contributions made to the state’s education system.

Columbia, SC – The South Carolina Education Lottery has announced the results for its draw games on October 26, 2025, revealing winning numbers and providing information on how players can claim their prizes.

In the evening draw, the Pick 3 numbers were 4-2-1, with a Fireball number of 4. For the Pick 4 game, the winning numbers were 9-5-3-5, also with a Fireball of 4. The Cash Pop evening result showed a winning number of 14, while the Palmetto Cash 5 winning numbers were 01-17-22-30-31.

Players who win prizes of up to $500 can claim their winnings at any authorized South Carolina Education Lottery retailer. Those who have tickets worth between $501 and $100,000 must mail a signed ticket, along with a claim form and a government-issued photo ID, to the South Carolina Lottery Claims Center. For prizes exceeding $100,000, winners must claim their prizes in person at the South Carolina Lottery Headquarters in Columbia, where they will need to present their signed ticket, a claim form, photo ID, and Social Security card. All lottery prizes must be claimed within 180 days of the draw date.

The South Carolina Lottery continues to capture public attention with its current Powerball jackpot, which stands at approximately $1.3 billion, making it the sixth largest prize in lottery history. Should no winner emerge from the Wednesday drawing, an additional drawing is set for Saturday, September 6.

South Carolina has produced seven Powerball winners since the game’s launch, with the most recent notable win in 2013 when a ticket sold for $399 million. Recently, Savion Lytle from Charlotte celebrated a $150,000 top prize from a digital instant game called The Lamp. The odds of Lytle winning were reported at 1 in 1,000,000, and he plans to allocate some of his winnings toward trade school education.

In a significant modernization effort, South Carolina lottery retailers can now accept cashless payments following the approval of Senate Bill 169 in July 2025. This change is expected to enhance player convenience and increase sales.

The success of the South Carolina Education Lottery is also reflected in its financial contributions to the state’s educational system. Since its inception in 2002, the lottery has generated approximately $8.9 billion for education in South Carolina. In 2025 alone, earnings reported by the lottery amount to $546.8 million. The popularity of scratch-off tickets and the Palmetto 5 cash game has been pivotal in driving these impressive earnings.

SC Lottery Commission Chairman Sam Litchfield emphasized the pride the commission takes in its contributions to the education of state students. The lottery’s ongoing commitment to funding education continues to play a crucial role in supporting various educational initiatives across South Carolina.
