Upon arriving at the scene, deputies discovered a male victim suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Immediately following the shooting, law enforcement initiated a search for Coleman, resulting in a strong police presence in the Chadford Road area of Irmo on Wednesday evening. The Richland County Sheriff’s Special Response Team, along with multiple deputy vehicles, was deployed during the intense search effort.

As part of this operation, deputies executed high-risk warrants and towed a vehicle believed to have been involved in the shooting from a residence on Chadford Road. However, despite these efforts, Coleman was not located at that time.
