IRMO, S.C. — Irmo High School edge rusher Jaiden Bryant is one of the 20 best senior football prospects in the country, according to an updated national ranking of the Class of 2027 released Saturday, Oct. 17.
Bryant landed at No. 18 on the USA TODAY High School Sports list of the top 100 seniors. The list blends each player’s standing with three recruiting services, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN, and Bryant’s composite mark came out to 29.67.
He is listed at 6 feet 3.5 inches and 245 pounds and has already committed to LSU. He was the only player from a South Carolina school to crack the top 20.
Irmo played Friday night without running back Tai Phillips, an Alabama commit, which leaves Bryant as the most prominent college prospect on the roster as the team heads toward the final weeks of the regular season. Quarterback Brittain Davis has stepped up as a key playmaker on offense this fall.
