CHAPIN, S.C. — Dutch Fork stayed unbeaten Friday night, beating Chapin 21-8 in a Midlands high school football matchup that closed Week 8 of the SCHSL season.
The Silver Foxes entered the game at 7-0 overall and 2-0 in region play and left with that mark intact after the road win over the Eagles.
Jaxon Knotts threw two touchdown passes to Corey Miller, finishing with 138 yards through the air and 96 yards on the ground. Miller caught four passes for 110 yards.
Chapin got on the board when Tyler Black connected with Connor Finney for a touchdown pass, accounting for the Eagles eight points.
The loss leaves Chapin looking ahead on the Week 8 schedule after falling short against the top-tier Midlands program. Dutch Fork continues its undefeated run as region play deepens.
