McGraw, NY – Cindy Bullock, a cherished member of the McGraw community and a devoted family matriarch, passed away, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion. Cindy, a 1972 graduate of McGraw Central School, was a lifelong resident and a proud member of McGraw United Methodist Church.
Throughout her life, Cindy was known for her unwavering support of her family and her commitment to her faith. She was married to Carl Bullock, and together they shared many fulfilling years of partnership. Cindy was a loving mother to five children: Millisa Walters, Joline Harlow, Angela Bullock, Crystal Bullock, and stepson Carl Bullock Jr. Her role as a devoted mother was complemented by her joy as a grandmother to Evan Walters, Andrew Walters, Teagan Harlow, and Dean Deskiewicz, all of whom brought great happiness to her life.
Cindy’s family extended beyond her immediate loved ones. She was the beloved daughter of the late Myron and Beverly Batsford and is survived by her siblings: Ron (married to Linda) Batsford of Jordan, NY; Patricia Batsford of Preble, NY; Michael Batsford of Cortland, NY; Renee (married to Jerry) Lobdell of McGraw, NY; and Charles Batsford of McGraw, NY. She was also supported by a caring sister-in-law, Linda Batsford of Virgil, NY. Cindy was predeceased by her brothers Edgar, Gerald, and Keith, highlighting the depth of her family connections.
A Celebration of Cindy’s Life is scheduled for Wednesday, July 23rd, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Dunbar Funeral Home, Dutch Fork Chapel in the Tribute Room. Friends and family are invited to join in honoring her legacy and the countless lives she touched. A formal service will be held at a later date at McGraw UMC in McGraw, New York, to commemorate her impact on the community and her steadfast faith.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Cindy can be made to the Ovarian Cancer Coalition of Central South Carolina, PO Box 3567, West Columbia, SC 29171. This gesture reflects Cindy’s commitment to helping others, as her life was characterized by compassion and dedication to her community.
