Lake Murray, SC is buzzing with excitement as the Taste of Lake Murray event is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for March 27, 2025, at 6 p.m., because this is one party you won’t want to miss! It’s all happening at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Columbia, and it promises to be a night filled with scrumptious food, lively music, and great company!

What to Expect

Get ready to dance the night away as the amazing Band of Oz takes the main stage! If you fancy outdoor vibes, make sure to catch The Reggie Sullivan Band performing outside. This annual celebration showcases delicious flavors from around the region where you can sample different dishes and vote for your favorite chef! The winning chef will earn a coveted spot on Team Lake Murray Country for the prestigious World Food Championships!

But that’s not all! You’ll also have the chance to bid in a silent auction and purchase raffle tickets for your shot at winning fantastic prizes. The atmosphere will be filled with fun, laughter, and a sense of community as this event is not just a party, it’s the go-to “party with a purpose!”

Supporting the Independence Day Celebration

You might be wondering what makes this event so special. Well, all proceeds from the Taste of Lake Murray go towards the beloved Lake Murray Independence Day Celebration! This means that every ticket bought helps to light up the night sky with spectacular fireworks every year—an unforgettable sight for all the neighboring communities including Cayce, West Columbia, Springdale, and beyond! Just imagine thousands of smiles lighting up at the fireworks launched from two stunning locations on the lake on June 28, 2025—a treasured tradition for many!

“We are so grateful for the community support at this event each year,” expressed Miriam Atria, President/CEO of CCLMC. She added how vital these funds are in staging South Carolina’s largest fireworks show. You can be a part of this magical celebration too!

Get Your Tickets!

Early Bird tickets are on sale right now for only $100 per person. If you want to snag reserved seating, it’s just an extra $25. But here’s the catch: reserved seating is limited, so if you want to make sure you have a cozy spot, you might want to act fast! Please note, guests must be 21 years and older to attend this fabulous event.

Heads up! The early bird ticket sale ends on February 14 at 11:59 p.m., so after that, tickets will return to their regular price of $125. Don’t wait too long—head over to LakeMurrayCountry.com or call 803-781-5940 for more details and to grab your tickets!
