IRMO, S.C. — Biscuitville has shut down its Irmo store, the one at 10605 Broad River Road, ending a run of about a year and a half for the breakfast chain’s first Irmo location.

The company now lists the Irmo store as permanently closed on its website, and the Biscuitville signs have been pulled off the building and the roadside sign out front.

The restaurant had its grand opening on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, with a ribbon cutting that included Irmo Mayor Bill Danielson. Its doors opened at 5 a.m. every day for breakfast and Southern plates, and it closed each afternoon at 2 p.m.

Irmo is not the first Midlands store the chain has given up. In July 2025 the company pulled out of Garners Ferry Road in Columbia. For Irmo customers, the closest Biscuitville left is the one on Clemson Road in northeast Columbia, which remains in business.

Biscuitville is family owned and based in Greensboro, N.C. The company has not said what led to the Irmo closing or what will happen to the building.
